TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOTO Tours (Viva Amazonia GmbH)

1. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once we send written confirmation.
A 50% deposit is required; the remaining balance is due 14 days before departure. Bookings made less than 14 days before the tour must be paid in full.

2. What’s Included

All meals, guided activities, excursions, crew services, drinking water, coffee, tea, and safety equipment are included.
Not included: alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, transfers, Wi-Fi, insurance, flights, and personal expenses.

3. Itinerary Changes

Routes and activities may change due to water levels, weather, navigation, or safety considerations. These changes do not justify refunds.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 90 days before departure: full refund minus €30 fee

  • 90–30 days before: 50% refund

  • 30 days or less: no refund
    No refunds for no-shows or early departures.
    If we cancel for safety/operational reasons, you can reschedule or receive a full refund.

5. Health Requirements

Guests must be physically able to participate and inform us of health conditions, allergies, or mobility issues. Participation may be declined if safety is at risk.

6. Children

Children must be supervised at all times. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for their children’s safety and behavior.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Follow crew instructions, respect safety guidelines, keep the environment clean, and behave responsibly. Dangerous behavior may lead to exclusion from activities.

8. Liability

Participation is at your own risk.
BOTO Tours (Viva Amazonia GmbH) is not liable for injuries, accidents, lost belongings, or delays caused by weather, wildlife, technical issues, or force majeure.
Guests must have their own travel and health insurance.

9. Private Charter

Prices are calculated individually. Dates, routes, and crew setup depend on river conditions and prior agreement. Charter deposits are non-refundable.

10. Travel Documents

Guests are responsible for valid passports, visas, and required travel health documents.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Jurisdiction

German law applies. Place of jurisdiction: Berlin, Germany.
