The Boat

Welcome aboard our traditional Amazon riverboat — lovingly restored and thoughtfully reimagined. Originally built to carry people and goods along the Rio Negro, the vessel has been transformed with care into a warm, intimate home on the water.

Today, it blends the charm of classic Amazonian boatbuilding with the comfort and ease of a boutique travel experience. Its open layout keeps you connected to the river and rainforest at every moment, while rustic design details and modern touches create a calm, effortless atmosphere.

Cabins

We offer different cabin layouts:

  • Cabin 1: double bed (kingsize) + private washbasin

  • Cabin 2: double cabin without private washbasin

  • Cabin 3: triple cabin with private washbasin

  • Cabin 4: double cabin on the terrace level with private washbasin

Fresh bedding and soft lighting create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere — simple, comfortable, and just right for settling into the rhythm of the river.

Our boat features four cozy cabins — three on the main level and one on the terrace level.

Each cabin is designed for comfort while keeping the authentic feeling of an Amazon expedition.

Thanks to openings on both sides, each cabin enjoys natural airflow, supported by a large fan and additional clip-on fans for extra ventilation.

Bathrooms

Our two unisex bathrooms are designed to offer comfort while keeping the natural character of the boat. Each bathroom features a rain shower and a modern toilet.

The interior is finished in oiled wood, giving the space a warm, organic feel.

Living &
Dining Area

The living and dining area forms the warm, social heart of the boat.
Here, guests come together for freshly prepared meals, share stories from the day, or relax with a book from our small onboard library while the river drifts by.

This level also houses the kitchen, where our chef Lica prepares all meals — and where guests are always welcome to chat with her and learn more about local ingredients and Amazonian cooking.

Terrace

The terrace is a spacious, comfortable place to relax and take in the rhythm of the Rio Negro. From here, guests settle into hammocks, watch birds above the treetops, enjoy the views, and spend unhurried moments together.

Designed to bring you closer to nature, our open terrace offers an uninterrupted view of the passing Amazon.

By day, it is a peaceful space to observe local river life, spot wild pink dolphins, or share quiet moments with Captain Arnaldo as he navigates the river.

Experience the breathtaking colors of a jungle sunrise or sunset, and as night falls, the terrace transforms into the perfect spot for stargazing.

Our Boat – Blending Nature and Comfort

Our boat provides a unique retreat surrounded by nature — spacious, comfortable, and full of character. Here you’ll find an overview of the boat, its facilities, and everything that makes your stay comfortable:

  • Our boat is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and immersive Amazon experience.
    It runs primarily on solar energy, making your journey quieter, cleaner, and more in harmony with the surrounding nature.

    For daily excursions and exploration, we provide two motorized support boats and kayaks for peaceful paddling.
    Guests also have access to snorkeling gear for refreshing swims, as well as hammocks for resting between activities.

    To support you during different activities, we provide rain capes for boat excursions and a few headlamps for night safaris.

  • Our cabins are designed to offer comfort and ease, with thoughtful touches that make your stay feel relaxed and cared for.
    While the Rio Negro has relatively few mosquitoes, each cabin includes mosquito nets for extra peace of mind, along with a reading light, fresh towels, and a day blanket for the occasional cooler night.
    Practical features such as fans, power outlets, hooks, and small storage areas add convenience to the natural charm of the rooms.

    Please avoid leaving your items around the communal areas.

    The Amazon is peaceful after dark — we keep it that way so everyone can rest well.

    • Leave the dining table after each meal
    This allows our crew to enjoy their meal afterward and keep the space clean for all.

    • Protect the environment
    Never leave trash in the water or the forest.
    The Amazon is fragile — we take care of it together.

    • Treat the boat like a shared home
    Move gently, respect the spaces, and let the natural rhythm of the river be part of the experience.

    • Listen to the crew’s guidance
    They know the river, the wildlife, and the conditions best. Their advice keeps everyone safe.
